Rohit Bhagat is an experienced business leader with domain expertise in financial services and tech-enabled services. He is Chairman of PhonePe, Chairman of the Franklin Templeton ETF Funds, and Lead Independent Director at Meesho, and has served on multiple other public and private boards in these sectors. Previously, he was Chairman, Asia Pacific at BlackRock and Global Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Global Investors. Earlier, he was a Senior Partner at The Boston Consulting Group, where he co-led U.S. Financial Services and served as Managing Director, India. Rohit holds an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern University), an MSE from The University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Tech from IIT Delhi. He completed the Stanford Directors’ Consortium and is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
