Chuak Chan is a senior investment management professional with 30+ years across traditional firms, hedge funds, and principal investing in Asia-Pacific. He has served as Executive/Non-Executive Director on 12+ boards and helped found/launch 12+ investment firms, several award-winning. Since 2011 he has held leadership roles at Ascalon Capital (including CEO); previously he was Partner, Co-Founder & COO at Segantii Capital (2007–2011), held senior regional posts at ING Investment Management APAC including CRO and Head of Wholesale BD & Sales (1998–2007), and earlier worked at BT Funds Management (1988–1998) driving international expansion and establishing BT’s Singapore IM business. He holds B.Bus and M.Bus (Accounting & Finance) from UTS Sydney, is a CPA Australia, and has served as SFC Responsible Officer (Types 1/4/9) and AFSL Responsible Manager.
