Alok Kochhar has 30+ years in wholesale banking and management. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Asia-Pacific) he held senior leadership roles across businesses and geographies, culminating as Vice Chairman, Asia (to Dec 2014), and from 2003 led FIG Asia-Pacific, overseeing client coverage, strategy, and cross-border financing/advisory and balance-sheet solutions for regional financial institutions. Since leaving BAML, he has served as a director and advisor to private-equity firms and family offices, mentors FinTech ventures across Asia and the Middle East, and is Chairman of EvolutionX (Temasek/DBS-sponsored private debt fund). He also runs a restructuring consulting practice and has been affiliated with BCG. Education: B.Tech, Chemical Engineering (IIT Delhi); MBA (IIM Ahmedabad).
